A July 2023 trip to try to see the pumas Chile hoping to see pumas in snow. It can be difficult to time the snow, but on our first day we had a storm that left 2 feet of snow - the most the guides had seen in 20 years. We had some tough conditions - snow blocking some routes, vehicles sliding and getting stuck, temperatures as low as -11F (-24C) and fog that makes spotting pumas difficult. Despite the tough conditions it was an amazing adventure! Viewing these majestic animals on foot is an incredible experience and the snow provided a unique environment.

In 2019 we explored the Pantanal region of Brazil to photograph its wildlife. The main attraction and focus of the trip was the regions jaguars. We were also able capture some other wildlife along the way such as giant river otters, giant anteaters and the colorful macaws.
