Red Fox Diving for a Mouse in Winter 3 image compostie Yellowstone National Park

A red fox (Vulpes vulpes) dives into the snow hoping to catch a mouse on the ground underneath the snow. They listen for the rustling sounds and then dive in to try to catch one. This is a time composite. I took each fox image in a series and then blended the 3 images to show this composite of the different positions of the leap.
