Walrus Colony with Austfonna Glacier
We were traveling by zodiac looking for walrus in the morning fog near the Austfonna Glacier on Nordauslandet, Svalbard. Despite the poor light, it was great fun to watch the walrus swimming and curiously watching us. As the morning progressed, the fog began to clear we were able to spot a colony of female and young walrus with the massive Austfonna glacier rising above the fog in the background.
