This Galapagos Fur Seal (Arctocephalus galapagoensis) suns himself in the fading evening sunlight on Santiago Island, Galapagos, Ecquador. The Galapagos Fur Seal is one of the few animals that fear humans in the Galapagos so we had to quietly approach and remain a good distance away. They were hunted, nearly to extension in the 19th century.
