Feeding Time!

Western grebes take care of their chicks by letting them ride on their back while the other parent searches for fish to feed them. The babysitting job seems to get a little old as each parent will flap their wings and lift the front part of the body, essentially dumping the chicks into the water. The parents take turns being the babysitter or food provider.
