Wildflower Superbloom in the Desert of Anza Borrego

I got up at 2:30am to drive to the desert and hopefully see the bloom. I was rewarded with this amazing sunrise. The colors only lasted a few minutes, but it was spectacular to see. Attempts like this don’t always work out – the clouds block the sunrise, the skies are clear or you don’t see the animal you were looking for. Every once in a while, everything aligns and you get to witness something spectacular.
