A mating pair of lions silhouetted in the morning sunrise. It was nearing sunrise and we were hoping to find something to photograph. The guides expertly found the mating pair of lions, however the challenge was to find a location that was lower than the lions on the flat plains so that the lions would stand out against the dark foreground. After trying several places our guide found the perfect spot where the sun rose directly overhead. While the sun rose the lions were lying down, but not long after sunrise the female sat up and the lion stood giving us this beautiful silhouette.
