Burrowing Owl Chick Flys Toward Camera in California

A burrowing owl chick (Athene cunicularia) appears to fly directly toward me when it is actually returning to it's nest. The nest is next to a road. Passing trucks and nearby red-tailed hawks will scare it back to the nest. In addition, the chicks sometimes like to hang out on the log for a bit before returning to the nest. High-key Black and White.
