Sunshine in my Eyes

If you look closely you can see sunrise reflected in his eyes. This is papa burrowing owl, I've been watching him feed his two chicks for the past month. For the past week or two, it has been tough love as he has been making the chicks catch their own food. At first there were lots of misses and papa supplemented with his own catches. Now the chicks are mastering their technique and becoming quite successful at capturing their own beetles.
