Cheetah Brothers
Cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus) brothers at Kwando Camp, Botswana. While the cheetahs napped in the afternoon we waited nearby hoping to catch them in an evening hunt. When they awoke they did not hunt but instead wandered the territory and kept sniffing the air until dark. The next morning they were separated and we watched them call looking for each other. We saw two meet up again. The guides thought a female may have come into the area and they may have separated to mate.
