Two Sloth Bear Cubs Ride on Moms Back
Two sloth bear cubs (Melursus ursinus) take a ride on moms back as she searches for food. It was the dry season when we visited and during this season sloth bears primarily eat termites and ants. We would watch her stop and dig for a bit eating what she could and then continue along her way looking for the next good spot.
