A Great Horned Owl Naps In a Stunning Nest Cavity

A great horned owl (Bubo virginianus) naps while hopefully sitting on some eggs :) This owl lives on the edge of the city and it's a good reminder of why we shouldn't use poison to control rodents. Despite what the poisons claim poisons can accumulate in owls and hawks and can kill them as well.
