The jaguar is looking out over the river watchful of any Caiman or Capybaras to dine on. After several days of rain in the Pantanal the Jaguar is most likely very hungry as they typically do not hunt in the rain in this area. That may be because one of it's primary food sources in the Pantanal is Caiman. Caiman go to the bottom of the river in the rain instead of sunning themselves on the beaches.
