White Rhino

I selected this photo due to the story of the cut horns on this mom and older calf. Similar to African National Parks, private game reserves also have to deal with poaching. At Zimanga where this photo was taken, they not only hire an anti-poaching team, but they also remove the horns on the Rhinos once every 4 years to prevent them from being a target. It's sad that they have to do this, but better to be safe.
