Dinner!
The female white-tailed kite is coming to get the mouse that the male kite has just hunted for her. The mouse blends in with the tip of the pine tree, but if you look closely you can see it. The male brought back 6 mice that evening - eating about 1.5 himself. The other 3.5 went to the female who is staying close to the nest. The nest is hidden in the branches, but we suspect the chicks have hatched with so many mice for her.
