Brown Bear: Lake Clark National Park
This bear is affectionately referred to as Snaggletooth by the local guides at Lake Clark. His jaw was severely injured a couple of years back causing one of his canine teeth to jut out. This disfiguration does not prevent him from getting the ladies. Shortly before this photo was taken he was approached by a female and after a few minutes of courtship they mated. He then sauntered off into the sunset.
